As a part of community health nursing requirement a mass health education- Puppet Show on WOMEN EMPOWERMENT was beautifully and wonderfully put up be the 2nd year B. Sc Nursing students of SMCON on 2nd and 4th December at Taluk General Hospital H.D.Kote and St.Mary’s Community Health Centre, H D Kote.
On 2nd December, the programme commenced with a welcome speech and introduction delivered by Ms. Nirmala followed by puppet show. The invitees were Dr. Somanna (MO), Mrs. Parimala (Superintendent) and other staffs along with nearly 100 people. The crowd got awareness about the women empowerment. There was a speech and message given by the Doctors He and others appreciated students for the programme. Along with that, on 4th Dec at SMCHC, the same play was enacted where the hospital Administrator, Director, Doctors, Staffs and more than 100 people were present. The show culminated with a short speech by the Director by covering message and encourages children for the public awareness. In total more than 200 members were benefited by this act and was really appreciable. It was a great success and memorable one.
