International Nurses day was celebrated as the day is marked as the Anniversary of Florence Nightingale, founder of modern Nursing. In the Hospital campus on 12th May 2024 Nurses day was organized. where Nursing officers were felicitated for their Commitment in their Nursing Profession and selfless service offered in the hospital. the celebration began with the beautiful prayer service by the doctors with the theme OUR NURSES AN ANGEL ON EARTH. fallowed by small felicitation program. Dr. Sr Amitha Lobo the medical Superintendent enlightened on the theme for this year’s International Nurses Day is Our Nurses. Our Future. The economic power of care and thanked all the nurses for their dedication and work in safeguarding public health. Nurses play an essential role in our medical institutions such as giving safety or help in the recovery of patients etc. No doubt when some patient is in need of care then nurses work tirelessly to identify and protect the needs of the individual. To mark this day the Nursing Staff Mrs. Rukmini, Sangeetha, Swathi, Jyothi and Bhavani were honored for their long years of service in the hospital.
