Helen Keller says, \u201cOf all the senses sight must be the most delightful\u201d. With this view, our Health Centre collaborates with Aravind Eye Hospital Koyamuthur, extending the health services by free eye examination, identifying the patients with refractive errors, replacement of eye glasses at minimal cost, to the people of H.D.Kote Taluk and surrounding villages every year. The project also provides with the free cataract surgery. Every year, 300-400 people make the best use of the opportunity and out of which 80-85 are the beneficiaries of the cataract surgery.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n

Quaterly we conduct a free gynaecological and obstetric camp in collaboration with Phende hospital Gurupura, the beneficiaries are Tibetian women. Free Health checkup and screening tests for cervical pathology are done. This indeed is a great help to the women of Tibetan community to improve their health status.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n

Free health camp was conducted for the people of H.D. Kote in collaboration with St. Joseph\u2019s hospital Mysuru. This camp aimed at serving the locality to gain maximum health awareness on surgical problems and to seek appropriate intervention. Drs.Victor, Kumar Alikhan Basavaraj Jayanth, Lokesh, Placid and others contributed to this camp. Total number of patients benefitted were 263. (28\/08\/2008)<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n
