Sr. Smitha D’Souza, an assistant professor at Saint Mary’s College of Nursing, participated as a resource person in an outreach program to provide health education to children residing in tribal areas. She covered topics such as health and hygiene, the importance of attending school, and healthy behaviors. Additionally, fun educational activities were conducted to create awareness and engage the tribal children, leaving them with a sense of wonder and joy. The outreach program was held at Kanthanahadi, a tribal area in H D Kote Taluk, on the 23rdand 29th of April, 2025.
