What is Gynaecology?
Gynecology or Gynaecology is the medical practice dealing with health of female reproductive system like vagina, uterus and ovaries and the breasts. Literally outside medicine it means science of women. Almost all modern Gynecologists are also obstetricians. In many areas the specialities of obstestrics and gynecology overlap. Texts on Gyneacology date back to 1800 BC and they address womens complaints, gynaecological diseases, fertility, pregnancy, contraceptions.
