

Helen Keller says “There is no better way to thank God for your sight than by giving a helping hand to someone in the dark”. On 23/03/2019 St Mary’s Community Health Centre had the joy of collaborating with Aravinda Eye Hospital for a free eye camp. It was inaugurated by lighting lamp by dignitaries and by a prayer song seeking God’s blessing on the days programme. The eye camp benefited in identifying the patients with refractive errors, replacement of eye glasses at minimal cost, to the people of H.D.Kote Taluk and surrounding villages. The project provided with the free cataract surgery. 379 people made the best use of the opportunity and out of which 103 people were the beneficiaries of the cataract surgery. Rev. Sr. Lilly Fernandes the trust president of SMCHC Sr. Irene Leena Pais and Sr Assisia visited camp site.
