Outreach programs were put up by the Saint Mary’s college of Nursing on different occasions, to mark the events health education talk and role play were organized by the B’Sc Nursing students along with ANM students of St. Mary’s Community Health Centre Trust (R) H.D.Kote. which aimed to help, uplift and support those who are deprived of certain services and rights.
The World AIDS Day on 01/12/2021is celebrated with the theme “End inequalities. End AIDS”. With a special focus on reaching people left behind, WHO and its partners are highlighting the growing inequalities in access to essential HIV service
28/10/2021 Cancer awareness program was organized Dr. Sr. Amitha (MBBS.MD.Ms) gave an informative health talk specially focusing on ways to prevent occurrence of cancer among the backward people. she also stressed on the power of knowledge saying “We know that every single one of us has the ability to make a difference, large or small, and that together we can make real progress in reducing the global impact of cancer”.
