On 20th December 2021 “Nutrition Day” was organized by 1st year B’Sc Nursing students under the able leadership of Sr. Smitha the Assist. Prof(OBG) at Saint Mary’s College of Nursing. The program began at 2.30pm Ms. Aleena Prince welcomed the dignitaries all those present for the event. The 1st year B.Sc. Nursing students displayed various nutritional dishes with their nutritional benefits and calorific values. All the students took active part by making the day more energetic and colorful. The dignitaries of the were Rev. Sr. Mary Mendonca (Director of Hospital and SMCON), Prof. Mr. Naveen Rasquinha (Principal) Rev. Sr. Santhan Rodrigues the (Administrator), Prof. Mr. Anilkumar (Vice Principal), Rev. Sr. Mary Fernandes (Nursing Superintendent).Each student was asked to prepare 3 dishes which was displayed in the most clean manner. There was an active participation and interaction between the students and teachers which put forth a platform for both of them to ask and rectify doubts about the dishes displayed . All of them gathered there took up chances to taste all the dishes served. the program was indeed beautiful and successful.
