Lamp lighting ceremony of 2nd batch of B. Sc Nursing was held on 27/04/2022 at SMCON campus. The dignitaries of the day were Prof. Mrs. Pushpalatha Principal Govt Mysore Nursing College. The guest of Honour Rev Sr Lilly Fernandes (UFS) The Provincial Councillor of Mysore Province, Prof. Principal Mr. Naveen Rasquinha, Rev. Sr. Mary Mendonca the Director of SMCHC, Rev Sr Mary Fernandes Superior Of Sanjeevini Convent And Nursing Superintendent Of SMCHC .
Ms. Aleena Prince (2nd B. Sc (N)) was MC of the day. Large number of beloved parents and relatives of the students , teaching and non teaching faculties of SMCON , Doctors, staffs and students of SMCHC and religious sisters from far and near of H.D Kote witnessed this graceful event of lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony of 2nd batch B. Sc Nursing students.
Prof. Mr. Naveen Rasquinha enlightened the new budding Nurses by explaining the Significance of the lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony in Nursing Education .The Chief guest Prof. Mrs. Pushpalatha, and Rev Sr Lilly Fernandes motivated the students with their words of wisdom. Prizes were distributed in appreciation to their academic progress and participation in various cultural events. A short felicitation program organized to the dignitaries of the day. Fallowed by meal was served to all present to the event at SMCON campus.
