The international yoga day was observed on 21/06/22 at Saint Mary’s College of Nursing, H.D. Kote, Mysuru, as per the theme ‘Yoga for Humanity‘, which is intended at bringing to light the physical, mental, and emotional state of people. The day was organized by the 2nd year B.Sc Nursing Students. The dignitaries of the day were Prof. Mr. Naveen Rasquinha(Principal SMCON), Sr. Mary Mendonca (Director SMCON), Sr. Mary Fernandes(Nursing Superintendent SMCHC), Sr. Tresa (Warden Girl’s hostel), Sr. Ivy, Sr. Placid. the theme was well explained the role of yoga specially in students lives. The entire program enhanced the power of yoga and to tune the nature of the supreme reality in all the circumstances.
