World Environment Day is observed on June 5th by the Saint Mary’s College of Nursing , H D Kote, Mysuru. This day was celebrated to encourage to raise an awareness and describe the importance of Mother nature and understanding the purpose of environmental protection by the nursing students.
The theme of World Environment day this year is “Only One Earth” was well explained by the dignitaries of the day namely Dr. Sr. Hilda Lobo(Senior Gynecologist Of SMCHC), Prof Mr. Naveen Rasquinha (principal SMCON), Rev,. Sr. Mary Mendonca (Director SMCON). fallowed by plantation was done in the nursing college premises by the dignitaries, Principal, faculty members and students
