National Doctor’s Day was celebrated on 1st July 2023 at Saint Mary’s College of Nursing & Hospital to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B C Roy. It was an auspicious day to to appreciate and be grateful to our dear Doctors Dr. Sr. Hilda Rita Lobo(the senior Gynecologist), Dr. Sr. Jyothi Fernandes(The Pediatrician), Dr. Sr. Amitha Lobo(General surgeon and the Medical Superintendent), Dr. Nischal (Aesthetician), Dr. Deepak, Dr. Manoj, Dr. Ompriya, Dr. Glen, and Dr. Ashwin, for their commitment to their profession and also to give due honor and respect to our doctors for their tireless sacrifice, uncompromised commitment, meticulous and compassionate way of dealing with the suffering humanity, enthusiastic and full of life and readiness to service 24*7 and for the excellent care they give and how they serve as role models for others. It was appreciating that hey were honored with fruits and flowers for their unassuming selfless service at any time of the day. Sr Avitha the staff Nurse was the master of ceremony. Sr Smitha Assist professor CON lead a beautiful prayer to the doctors, the nursing assistants presented beautiful song based on Doctors day. Rev. Sr. Concepta the senior public health Nurse encouraged all the Doctors of our hospital with her inspiring message in which she focused on “Celebrating Resilience and Healing Hands“.
