

No Tobacco Day Celebration – May 31, 2025
On May 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, a No Tobacco Day awareness program was organized for III Semester students as part of their academic curriculum. This year’s theme, “Bright Products, Dark Intentions: Unmasking the Appeal,” focused on exposing the deceptive marketing tactics of tobacco products and emphasizing their harmful consequences.
The program commenced with a warm welcome speech by Ms. Gladwin, followed by an insightful introduction to the theme by Ms. Darshana, who emphasized the dangers of tobacco use. The significance of the day was powerfully conveyed by Dr. Sr. Amitha Lobo, highlighting the harmful effects of tobacco and the necessity of prevention. A compelling tableau performance by III Semester students creatively depicted the deceptive allure and devastating consequences of tobacco consumption.
The event was skillfully anchored by Ms. Sanjana S. and Ms. Theresa, ensuring seamless coordination throughout. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Arunima, expressing gratitude to all participants and dignitaries. Approximately 80 attendees benefited from the event. The day ended with a group photograph, capturing the moment with esteemed guests and reinforcing the impactful message of tobacco awareness.
