

Saint Mary’s College of Nursing joyfully celebrated Onam and Teachers’ Day on September 2nd , 2025, with vibrant cultural programs and heartfelt tributes. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff in a spirit of unity and gratitude. The celebration began with a traditional Pookalam (floral rangoli) adorning the college entrance, symbolizing prosperity and harmony. Students dressed in traditional Kerala attire performed Thiruvathira dance, songs, and skits that highlighted the essence of Onam and its cultural significance. In honor of Teachers’ Day, students expressed their appreciation through speeches, handmade cards, and a special video tribute. A formal felicitation ceremony was held to recognize the dedication of faculty members, followed by fun games and interactive sessions that strengthened the bond between students and teachers. The program was coordinated by final-year B.Sc Nursing students under the guidance of faculty members. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and refreshments, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a renewed sense of community.
