On 28th November 2025, 4th Semester B.Sc. Nursing students participated in a Palliative Care Module as part of their AHN I syllabus under RGUHS and INC guidelines. The session, held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM in Class II (Ground Floor), was organized through a poster presentation and guided by Prof. Sandeep Kumar , HOD of MSN, SMCON.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Gladwin followed by the presence of dignitaries including Sr. Mary Mendonca (Director), Sr. Anuna Kumari (Administrator), Prof. Sarvamangala K.P (Principal), and other faculty members. Ms. Steniya marked the occasion with a welcoming gathering of the day.
Students presented posters in three groups covering topics such as palliative and hospice care, end-of-life care, pain management, nursing and communication skills, and the role of ASHA/CHO. The presentations were informative, enthusiastic, and educational.
The module concluded with an evaluation by the Principal and Administrator, who appreciated the students’ efforts and encouraged them for future modules. Ms. Sandra delivered the vote of thanks, and other batches were invited to view the posters. The session ended successfully.
